Premise celebrates national award win

Premise took out the Stormwater Association  National Award for Excellence in Strategic or Master Planning, for their work on the Walloon Waterlea Estate – Integrated Stormwater Management Strategy.

After firstly winning the Queensland state award, the project went on to win the national award, ahead of some impressive competition.

The project, led by Keith Howells said that overcoming the constraints on the site, was a rewarding challenge, “With several challenges on the Waterlea site, such as the majority of the site sitting within the 1% AEP flood levels together with limited access to water and sewerage reticulation infrastructure, our team relished the challenge of using clever design to mitigate these conditions to create an award winning innovative solution.”

Daniel Niven’s water team helped in turning many of the significant stormwater constraints into award winning solutions for our client RBG Holdings and Ipswich City Council.
