Geographic Information Systems (GIS) collate geographical information that can be used to identify constraints or opportunities, map sensitive areas and prepare appropriate maps or drawings to support an environmental assessment, management plan or development application.

DANIEL DRUM – ENVIRONMENTAL TEAM MANAGER

Daniel Drum has over fourteen years of experience as an urban and regional planner in Victoria and New South Wales. During this time Daniel has worked within State Government, Local Government and for a private consulting firm, giving him a broad and comprehensive understanding of the planning system as well as valuable experience in a wide range of projects.

Daniel has recently worked as the Manager of Planning with the Blayney Shire Council. In this position Daniel was responsible for overseeing Council’s statutory and strategic planning functions. Daniel was also directly responsible for the day to day assessment of development applications.

Daniel has also worked with the Orange City Council as a Senior Town Planner. In this position, Daniel’s primary responsibility was the assessment of development applications.
