Announcing a strategic partnership between Premise Environment and Faunatech

Premise Environment has a proud history of delivering quality environmental engineering and ecology services for diverse clients. As part of our continuing commitment to professional development, we are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Victorian based firm, Faunatech.

Established in 1991, Faunatech specialises in the design, development, supply and support of fauna monitoring equipment and systems. Faunatech have partnered with Premise to broaden the support base for Song Meter recorders, ancillaries and analysis software to Queensland and northern Australia.

May-Le Ng, our in-house Environmental Engineer and Ecologist, spent time at Faunatech’s headquarters earlier this year. This opportunity allowed May-Le to undertake hands-on repair and calibration training related to the Wildlife Acoustics suite of bioacoustics recorders and software.

This partnership will allow Faunatech’s equipment and services to reach new markets, whilst being supported by Premise’s growing team of 120 staff spread across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Both teams are excited about further opportunities to collaborate.

“Through this exciting partnership, Premise will have the market reach to offer environmental services further south,” said May-Le. “Similarly, Faunatech products will assist our growing client base in northern parts of Australia.”

The partnership with Faunatech also allows Premise Environment to offer enhanced solutions for a range of applications, including conservation projects, baseline monitoring and bioacoustics and soundscape research relating to environmental rehabilitation. We are thrilled to be partnering with such a like-minded group!

“Providing high-quality practical research equipment has always been the driving force behind Faunatech,” said its founder and Managing Director, Ross Meggs. “The opportunity to entrust our technical skills to associates such as May-Le and the wider Premise team is very exciting.”
