Senior Designer

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete design tasks and manage the completion of construction plans including for roads, sewer, stormwater, water and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare project documentation and digital data files that are accurate and clear and compliant with best practice.
- Working with our engineers, planners and surveyors to provide design advice and outcomes that contribute to successful projects.
Qualifications:
- Related tertiary qualifications (preferred) or relevant industry experience.
Experience required:
- Sound knowledge of civil design systems and procedures, including practical.
- Knowledge, principles and methods of engineering, relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency in the use of information technology and sound ability in Microsoft Office suite and other applicable software packages.
- Experience with Australian road infrastructure design, urban development. and subdivisions.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and to establish work and deadline priorities.
- Works well collaboratively and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Desirable – previous experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy, especially in land development, subdivision and infrastructure projects and competence working in:-
- Civil design and modelling software packages (12d Model, Civil 3d).
- Hydraulic, hydrological and water quality models (12d Model’s DNE, DRAINS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, RAFTS, etc.).
- CAD software packages (AutoCAD,).
