Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in NSW strategic and statutory planning and associated legislation.
  • Preparation of written reports including Statements of Environmental Effects,   reports relating to Planning Proposal Requests and planning advice to clients.
  • Assist in project management, including client liaison, specialist consultant management, budgets and invoice preparation.
  • Assist in preparation of job proposals and cost estimates.
  • Working within project budgets and timeframes.
  • Ability to liaise with State Agencies, Councils, developers, objectors, consultants and the broader community
  • Support of the management team
  • Contribute towards business development.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in urban or town planning.
  • Current C-class driver’s licence.
Experience required:
  • Minimum 2-3  years’ demonstrated experience as a town planner in NSW.
