Premise is a full-service consultancy providing tailored solutions across various sectors including urban development, transport, water and wastewater, agriculture, energy and resources, and health and education.  We are well positioned to service our broad client base throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Mackay.  The successful candidate will oversee construction works on site and prepare due diligence and engineering reports as well as other delegated engineering projects.

Key Responsibility
  • Assisting with preparation of proposals, reports, applications and other submissions.
  • Identifying project priorities and monitoring the status of commissions and the progression of work on site.
  • Assessment and documentation of clients’ requirements and preparation of contracts.
  • Assessment and monitoring of the status and performance of projects with a focus on delivery of contract requirements within specified timeframes.
  • Liaison with the client and approval authorities regarding performance and delivery of contract requirements.
​​​​Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in the engineering discipline.
  • 1 – 5 years civil engineering experience.
Required Experience
  • Exposure to a broad range of engineering issues and concepts.
  • Knowledge of systems and procedures relating to the role, including practical knowledge, principles and methods of engineering, and relevant codes, standards and engineering legislation.
  • Proficient in the use of information technology, including AutoCAD, 12D, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, QGIS and Microsoft Office Programs and any other applicable software packages.
