About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Surveyor to join our team in Wagga Wagga NSW, on a full-time basis. This position would provide you with the opportunity to work on a diverse range of urban and regional projects. You will be working with developers, state government agencies, local Councils, external consultants and our own team of in-house professionals.

Our team works tirelessly to guide clients through the entire planning, design and construction processes. We are regularly involved in projects from concept development, through land use approvals, environmental assessments and land surveys through to engineering and architectural designs.

Our goal is to provide a service that exceeds client’s needs for a quality and professional project that is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibility

Working alongside our Licenced and Registered Surveyors based in Albury your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a small but growing Wagga Wagga survey team.
  • Undertaking surveys; including cadastral, engineering and control surveys;
  • Conducting field inspections and assessments;
  • Developing skills through training; and
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals, reports and applications.
​​​​Qualifications
  • Technician, Graduate Licenced or Registered Surveyor;
  • 3 years minimum experience in a Surveying role (preferably in NSW or Vic);
  • Experience in leading a surveying team.
  • General construction induction card;
  • An awareness of relevant planning and environmental issues;
  • Current valid driver’s licence.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated CAD experience (preferably in AutoCAD and Magnet);
  • Ability to build strong working relationships;
  • You can work autonomously and/or in a team as required;
  • You have a background in, and excellent knowledge in Surveying; and
  • You have excellent time management and organisational skills and know how to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
