About the Role

Premise is a full-service consultancy providing tailored solutions across various sectors including urban development, transport, water and wastewater, agriculture, energy and resources, and health and education.  We are well positioned to service our broad client base throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibility
  • Complete design tasks and manage the completion of construction plans including for roads, sewer, stormwater, water and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare project documentation and digital data files that are accurate and clear and compliant with best practice.
  • Working with our engineers, planners and surveyors to provide design advice and outcomes that contribute to successful projects.
​​​​Qualifications
  • Related tertiary qualifications (preferred) or relevant industry experience.
Required Experience
  • Sound knowledge of civil design systems and procedures, including practical.
  • Knowledge, principles and methods of engineering, relevant codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in the use of information technology and sound ability in Microsoft Office suite and other applicable software packages.
  • Experience with Australian road infrastructure design, urban development. and subdivisions.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and to establish work and deadline priorities.
  • Works well collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Desirable – previous experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy, especially in land development, subdivision and infrastructure projects and competence working in:-
    • Civil design and modelling software packages (12d Model, Civil 3d).
    •  Hydraulic, hydrological and water quality models (12d Model’s DNE, DRAINS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, RAFTS, etc.).
    • CAD software packages (AutoCAD,).
