Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of planning and related legislation including both statutory and strategic planning;
  • Preparation of written reports, including Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, Planning Scoping Reports and Planning Proposal Requests;
  • Preparation of NSW Rural Fire Service – Bush Fire Assessment Report.
  • Project management, including client liaison, preparation of fee proposals, budgets and invoice preparation;
  • Ability to manage and co-ordinate projects;
  • Ability to liaise with Councils, State Agencies, developers and clients, consultants and the broader community;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree tertiary qualification in urban or town planning
  • 3 – 10 years post graduate experience
Experience required:
  • You build strong working relationships;
  • You can work independently and in a team;
  • You have a background in planning with knowledge of relevant legislation;
  • You have had exposure to a range of planning projects;
  • You have excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
