Arthur Rowson

Papua New Guinea & Pacific

During his 40-year career Arthur has gained extensive consulting experience working on a wide variety of Built Environment projects across the Asia-Pacific Region, for a broad range of private, government, and Aid sector clients. With 16 years of experience as an office/country manager and in senior management roles, along with decades of experience as a professional structural engineer, team leader, manager of supervision teams, and as a project manager, Arthur has delivered a multitude of projects. Including small to large institutional, low to high rise (50+storey) residential, commercial and hotel developments, as well as major civil infrastructure, industrial and resources projects.

These developments have been delivered in Australia, Cambodia, Fiji, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and Yemen – mostly whilst working in-country. Arthur is very aware of the sensitivities involved in project resolution and implementation in developing countries where he has managed and been an active member of multi-disciplinary teams involving a diverse range of specialists and technical inputs.
